At a glance

Nexplay Studios makes free-to-play mobile games. To run those games, keep them fair and fund them through advertising and optional purchases, we process some information about the people who play them. Here is the short version — the details follow below.

What we collect

Things you give us (like a profile name or a support request), data generated as you play (gameplay and device info) and data from partners such as app stores and sign-in providers.

Why we use it

To run and improve our games, help you when something goes wrong, understand how our games are played, keep things fair and show ads — personalised only where you allow it.

Who sees it

Trusted service providers (hosting, analytics, support), advertising and measurement partners, app store payment providers, and authorities when the law requires it.

Your control

You can access, correct, delete or export your data, and opt out of personalised ads or notifications at any time.

Who we are

This policy is issued by Nexplay Studios Ltd., Add your registered business address here (“Nexplay”, “we”, “us” or “our”). We are the data controller responsible for personal information processed through our mobile games, related websites and services (together, the “Games”).

“Personal information” means any information that relates to an identified or identifiable person, including information about how you use the Games. Please read this policy carefully. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the Games; you can stop playing and exercise the rights described below at any time.

1. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Profile details — a player name, avatar and language preference if you create one.
  • Support requests — your name, email address and anything you choose to tell us when you contact us, such as your player ID, device model, purchase receipts or screenshots.
  • In-game communications — where a game offers chat or messaging, the content and time of messages you send. Some chat features may be operated by third parties.
  • Website enquiries — the details you submit through our contact form.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and online identifiers — such as IP address, advertising identifier (IDFA/GAID), vendor or device ID, a unique player ID we assign, app version and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address.
  • Device information — make, model, operating system, language, time zone, screen size, network type and similar technical data.
  • Gameplay and usage data — install and session times, levels, scores, progress, in-game events, interactions with ads and offers, purchase history, crash logs and performance data, and signals that may indicate cheating, fraud or a modified version of a Game.

Information from third parties

  • Sign-in providers — if you connect a Game to Apple, Google or another platform, we receive an identifier and basic profile information that you permit them to share.
  • App stores and payment providers — confirmation of purchases, including transaction ID, item, price, currency, country and time. We never receive your full card details.
  • Analytics, advertising and measurement partners — information about how you found a Game, ad interactions and campaign attribution, which helps us measure marketing and detect ad fraud.

2. How we use your information

We use personal information for the purposes below. Where data protection law requires it, we rely on the legal basis shown.

3. Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:

  • Other players — your player name, avatar, scores, leaderboard position and any chat messages you send may be visible to other players.
  • Service providers — companies that host our servers and data, provide analytics, crash reporting, customer support tools and email delivery. They may only use your data to provide services to us.
  • Advertising partners — subject to your settings and consent, ad networks receive device identifiers and related data so they can serve, cap and measure ads. Their use of data is governed by their own privacy policies (see the partner list).
  • User acquisition and measurement partners — to understand which campaigns bring players to our Games. We may also use audience tools (such as custom or lookalike audiences) that match hashed identifiers with a partner's existing users.
  • App stores and payment providers — Apple and Google process in-app purchases as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.
  • Our group companies — affiliates that help us operate and support the Games.
  • Authorities and others where required — when the law requires it, to enforce our terms, to prevent fraud or abuse, or to protect the rights, property or safety of us, our players or the public.
  • Business transfers — if we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation or sale of assets, personal information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

Third-party platforms you use with our Games (for example Apple, Google or social networks) collect data under their own policies, which this policy does not cover.

4. International transfers

We and our providers may process personal information in countries other than the one you live in, including the United Kingdom, the European Economic Area and the United States. When we transfer data out of the UK or EEA, we rely on adequacy decisions where available or put appropriate safeguards in place, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

5. How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as you use the Games and for up to three years after your last activity, unless a longer period is needed to meet legal, tax or accounting obligations, resolve disputes or enforce our agreements. When data is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it so it can no longer identify you.

6. Security

We use technical and organisational measures — such as encryption in transit, access controls and secure hosting — to protect personal information. Where accounts use passwords, they are stored using one-way hashing. No system is completely secure, however, so we cannot guarantee the security of data sent over the internet.

7. Children

Our Games are not directed at children under the age required by local law to consent to data processing (for example 13 in the US, and up to 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children without appropriate parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has given us personal information, please contact us at gamedev785@gmail.com and we will delete it.

8. Your rights & choices

Depending on where you live (including the UK, EEA, Switzerland, Brazil and certain US states), you may have the following rights. To use them, email gamedev785@gmail.com or use the contact form and choose “Privacy request”. Please include your player ID if you have one so we can find your data.

  • Access — ask for a copy of your personal information and details of how we use it.
  • Correction — ask us to fix inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Deletion — ask us to erase your information, unless we must keep it for legal reasons. We will tell relevant partners, but you may also contact them directly.
  • Portability — receive data you provided in a machine-readable format, or have it sent to another company.
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your information in certain circumstances.
  • Objection & withdrawing consent — object to processing based on legitimate interests, or withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier processing.

Quick controls

  • Personalised ads — use the privacy or consent settings inside the Game where available, turn on “Limit Ad Tracking” / “Ask App Not to Track” on iOS, or delete or opt out of your advertising ID on Android.
  • Push notifications — switch them off in your device settings.
  • Marketing emails — click the unsubscribe link in any email we send.

9. Contact & complaints

Questions, requests or complaints about privacy can be sent to gamedev785@gmail.com or by post to: Data Protection, Nexplay Studios Ltd., Add your registered business address here.

We'd appreciate the chance to resolve any concern first, but you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office).

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with the “last updated” date above. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the Games or by other appropriate means.

Advertising & user acquisition partners

Our Games may work with the following advertising and measurement partners. Please review their privacy policies to learn how they use data and how to exercise your rights with them.

Addendum: California privacy rights

This addendum applies to California residents under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (“CCPA”).

Categories we collect

In the last 12 months we may have collected the following categories of personal information:

  • Identifiers — name, email address, IP address, device and advertising IDs, player ID and sign-in provider IDs.
  • Internet or network activity — gameplay, in-app activity and ad interactions.
  • Approximate geolocation — city or region derived from your IP address.
  • Commercial information — records of in-app purchases.
  • Inferences — preferences and interests derived from gameplay.

We obtain this information from you, your device, app stores, sign-in providers, and analytics and advertising partners, and use it for the purposes described in Section 2. We disclose it to the categories of recipients described in Section 3.

“Selling” and “sharing”

We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing advertising partners to collect identifiers for personalised advertising may be considered “selling” or “sharing” under the CCPA. You can opt out by using the in-game privacy settings where available, enabling your device's ad-tracking limits, or emailing gamedev785@gmail.com. We honour Global Privacy Control signals where technically feasible. We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16.

Your California rights

  • Know the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected, used and disclosed.
  • Request deletion or correction of your personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
  • Not be discriminated against for exercising your rights.

We aim to respond to verifiable requests within 45 days (with a possible 45-day extension, which we'll explain). To verify your request we may ask you to confirm information such as your player ID. You may use an authorised agent, who must provide proof of authorisation.

Shine the Light & Do Not Track

We do not share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing without your consent. Because there is no common industry standard for browser “Do Not Track” signals, we do not respond to them.
